Not Really HERE on the beach...

A bit lower down the page.

The lovely beach in Mexico is where my wife and I celebrated our 25th anniversary – which is why I wrote “20 Rules For Music Success.”

Yes, it should have been 25 Rules, for 25 years… but we’ll just say I owe you five.

Point is, you can have a successful music career AND a happy, healthy life. My wife and 3 daughters are my inspiration and joy. They inspire me and that makes a better, healthier musician.

Sometimes, our blog may include topics of personal interest such as finance, relationships and health for artists. Why? Because we’re interested in the whole person – not just the musical parts.

Better person AND better musician. That’s the goal.

I’ve been hired by individuals, big & small companies to do everything from compose for videos and jingles, lead educational workshops, write a popular songwriting blog, and build a #1 Google-rated online vibraphone recording service. Sometimes I even help musicians record their projects, develop career strategies, and still find time to teach the occasional drum-set lesson, conduct a church orchestra and play with a fantastic Beatles-tribute band.
